The international dimension of the EU policy to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings and protect the victims of this crime

This European Migration Network study provides an overview of the EU’s policies on preventing and combating human trafficking, as well as protecting its victims, from an international perspective. The aim of the study is to analyze the international cooperation of member states in the fight against human trafficking from 2021 to 2023. The European Migration Network study will be completed in the spring of 2025.

The Estonia report of the study offers an overview of Estonia’s international approach to combating human trafficking, cooperation with the origin and transit countries of human trafficking victims, and related international projects.
